Novartis Pharma K. K.

At Novartis Pharma K.K. we have been using a PROCOS STRATandGO™ based Planning & Controlling Application with much success since 2003.

We had originally selected the STRATandGO™ toolset over a number of competitor products because of it's extensive functionality, it's flexibility to model processes and the speed of implementation. During the project we also learned, however, to appreciate the profound understanding of our partners at PROCOS of relevant business processes and their keen endeavor to provide us at Novartis with the best possible implementation of their STRATandGO™ suite.

Requirements had been fairly complex, bringing together various planning & controlling processes of a service provider function such as monthly Planning and Controlling Cycles; Project Planning; Sourcing and Execution; Service Planning and Delivery; Cost Charging and Allocation; Cost Simulations and Cost Reporting to diverse stakeholders.

Building the Solution was a matter of weeks rather than the months it usually takes of this kind and scope of application.

With no local support available here in Japan we requested remote support for maintenance directly from the Vaduz/Liechtenstein office which we found to work just fine - faster and more effectively than many of our local support arrangements.

After five years of operating our STRATandGO™ based Planning & Controlling application we are still convinced to have chosen the best tool set, and have just decided to upgrade to the .NET version. At the same time will be expanding the scope of our application to include comprehensive performance tracking with the STRATandGO™ Business Scorecard.
